• Performs fetal, placental, and infant brain image analysis. General Responsibilities
  • Assists with the research and collection of data from internal and/or external sources in support of research project(s).
  • Conducts descriptive analysis with collected data and assists with evaluative analysis.
  • Assists with creating technical reports, journal articles, and public presentations as needed.
  • Maintains relationships with research project stakeholders and keeps them up-to-date and apprised of any concerns or issues; provides expertise in applicable areas of research; serves as back-up point of contact for client requests pertaining to assigned projects(s).
  • Mentors and/or provides guidance to students, faculty, or other staff working on research project(s) through training in related aspects of research techniques and analysis as needed; may provide daily oversight to less experienced staff or student researchers.
  • Represents the department with regard to related research and participates in professional development activities and programs.
  • May perform other related duties in support of research projects and data analysis efforts.QualificationsCombinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education. EDUCATIONRequired
    • Bachelor's degree preferably in public policy, public administration, public health, social sciences, or related field. Preferred
      • Master's degree. WORK EXPERIENCERequired
        • 1 year of research, data analysis, or related experience. Preferred
          • Experience in imaging data analysis. SKILLSRequired
            • Proficient communication skills.

            • Must possess strong attention to detail.Working Conditions / DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.Additional InformationThis position is grant funded with expected annual renewals.
