Job purpose
The AP Audit Manager's main responsibility is to understand the
demands and requirements of the AP Audit Department and the status
of the AP Audit Specialists' workload to resolve any
problems/issues. Works with the Accounting Department and
Procurement Department to develop processes that create
efficiencies with daily workflows. Helps with implementing and
maintaining Keter's financial policies and procedures with an
emphasis on accuracy, timing, and internal control. Compliance
with, and adherence to, Keter's reporting standards and control
requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
--- Serves as manager to help direct work of the AP Audit
Department ensuring quality and efficiency of the team
--- Assists AP Audit Specialist(s) when situations escalate
requiring management involvement
--- Manages communication with vendors to settle payment
disputes
--- Collaborates with field personnel to correct billing issues
--- Oversees the validation and approval of invoices to ensure
accuracy
--- Approves and validates invoices when necessary
--- Evaluates vendors' aging status weekly; goal to improve DPO
through timely processing of invoices
--- Works closely with the Accounting & Financial Reporting
Team
--- Works closely with Procurement and Data & Reporting Teams to
ensure price increases are evaluated and recorded in proprietary
software (eTrac)
--- Acts with a sense of urgency when expense increases are
identified and works with various teams
--- Evaluates, researches, and recommends improvements to
technology and processes (APSmart)
--- Approves timecards weekly and track vacation requests
--- Completes annual performance planning and annual performance
reviews of Accounts Payable/Audit staff
--- Assists with data requests for annual audit
--- Interacts with division operations, sales, marketing, and
executive management
--- Assists with monthly status reports and month end close
--- Supports management across the organization with special
payables requests
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
--- Bachelor's - Finance or Accounting degree preferred
--- 5-7 years of experience managing a team preferred
--- 5-7 years of related accounting experience preferred
--- 3-5-year experience of Procurement services
--- Analytical skills with a high level of accuracy
--- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within an
organization and outside vendors/haulers
--- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and achieve
goals
--- Understanding of the business and its processes
--- Proficient in Microsoft applications- i.e., Excel, Word,
PowerPoint.
--- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
--- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume
of auditing, while continually meeting deadlines.
--- Ability to adapt to change.
--- Experience with technology implementation and
troubleshooting
--- Preferably experience with NetSuite and APSmart.
--- Preferable experience with three-way match process
--- Preferable experience with QR payables automation
