DescriptionThe Director of Finance will oversee the financial
activities of a $1.5 Billion region that consists of 4 markets and
15 locations and will report directly to the VP of Finance for the
Division. This person will ensure the integrity of the region's
monthly financial statements, as well as partner with the Senior
Region Vice President to successfully achieve key financial
metrics.This role is based in the Central Region and can be located
in St. Louis, Chicago or Indianapolis. -Your career path has many

- Financial analysis Business Partner to -SVP of Region, as well
as Market -VPs, Directors, and Managers
- Assesses/defines and executes region specific opportunities
related to -Gross Margin, Working Capital, and Operating
efficiencies
- Performs -detailed analysis of monthly financial statements and
generates overview of financial variances to budget and prior year,
-including narratives and all required reporting by our corporate
office
- Prepares monthly forecasts, as well as periodic and ad hoc
financial reporting data
- Liaison for all transactional activity with Shared Services and
centralized accounting group
- Oversees -implementation and compliance of internal controls to
ensure the accuracy of region financial data and safeguarding of
company assets
- Responsible for coordinating and preparing annual budgets
- Coordinates financial audits with external/internal auditors
and assists corporate with other financial related regulatory
audits
- Manages data collection process for customer profitability
initiative, along with -customer/market review -
- Credit, collection and accounts receivable review and
monitoring ensuring all company policies are in place
- Review, analyze and monitor Bad Debt and Inventory Provision
accrualsRequirements:
- BS in accounting/finance or related background required
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years demonstrated experience in
accounting/finance required
- Previous knowledge of the AS400, TM1, HFM, and Blackline
-desired
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
applications
- Must be successful in problem identification and
resolution
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
