Job Description:

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a well-renowned and rapidly growing Logistics company located in East Central Indiana. Located about an hour from Indianapolis, this company has been in business for over 60 years with locations throughout the US. The position is open due to company growth. Preferred local candidates but relocation option will be considered. Opportunity is available to work at their Northside or East Central Indiana branch Responsibilities: Collaborate with the CFO on all merger and acquisition initiatives. Manage the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401K, and other retirement plans. Drive continuous process improvement efforts and implement enhancements. Lead financial forecasting activities, providing updates on a monthly and quarterly basis. Execute ad hoc projects, conduct analyses, prepare reports, manage external audits, and oversee upcoming projects. Supervise the Accounting Department, including a team accountants, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll staff. Ensure compliance with accounting standard operating procedures for accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and payroll. Oversee the Fixed Asset System to ensure adherence to GAAP and tax regulations Salary/Benefits: Up to $150,000 plus bonus program up to 20% In- office and flexible work schedule Medical, Vision, & Dental HSA Employee Stock Ownership Plan 401K match up to 3% Vacation, PTO & Paid Holidays Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and/or a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing ESOPs, qualified and non-qualified benefit plans, corporate tax reporting, and filings. Proficiency in Excel, strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks. Ability to travel per quarter or once a month depending upon need by company plane to other company locations.
