get into this exciting role!This is a hybrid role that could
include some on-site work (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana
office). In addition to the on-site opportunities, there are
additional responsibilities that can be completed outside of the
office, resulting in this being a hybrid role.Elements Financial is

should be prepared to work in a fast-paced and lively team
environment. The internship will develop meaningful experience in
various aspects of marketing/advertising, branding, and
communications. Although the intern will report directly to the
Brand Strategist, he/she/they will have the ability to learn from
and work with several leaders in the credit union. This intern will
be expected to work mostly remote; approximately 15 hours a week
throughout the spring semester of 2022 (with potential to continue
part-time hours until August 1, 2022). Most likely, there will be
opportunities to work in the office, either to join onsite team
meetings or collaborate directly with the department on specific
projects. A high level of responsiveness and superior communication
skills are essential to operate as an integral member of this
team.GROW PROFESSIONALLY:Consistently commit to learning through
professional networks and education. ---Develop knowledge of
marketing industry best practices from a team with 75 years of
collective experience; gain exposure to general financial services
industry knowledge. ---Participate in appropriate internal and
external training opportunities to expand expertise. ---Collaborate
most closely with members of the department who are former
Marketing Interns themselves. ---Mentor with all members of a
high-performing department. ---Interact with community partners of
Elements, including the Indianapolis Indians and multiple nonprofit
organizations. ---Attend meetings and other networking
opportunities throughout the credit union, including
company-sponsored social activities, as available. BE THE
EXPERT:Deliver financial wellness via education, listening and
personalized solutions. ---Work with AVP of Digital Marketing to
write new educational and promotional content for New Member,
Checking, and Credit Card email onboarding programs. ---Conduct
monthly website knowledgebase content reviews and coordinate
updates with staff from other departments. ---Process mass content
management system revisions for events published to elements.org,
personalized sites, and more web pages, as needed.LIVE THE
PURPOSE:Deliver an exceptional member and employee experience.
---Work with marketing team to plan, write, and design e-newsletter
which sends to full membership every other Wednesday. ---Assist
with other website updates and email builds, as needed. ---Assist
Communications Specialist and HR on occasion with internal
communications, including various needs (e.g. content building and
design) within the internal learning management system.GROW THE
BUSINESS:Deliver innovative products and services by way of engaged
talent. (Specifically for Wealth Management) ---Use reputable
external sources to author drafts of investing education articles,
known as Advice. ---Create enticing headlines and locate appealing
ad imagery to accompany Advice and emails. ---Write teaser copy for
Advice to appear on social media channels of financial advisors.
---Submit Advice and email content to LPL Financial and make
necessary revisions. ---Pull mailing lists from internal systems
and upload to printer for mailings. ---Partner with AVP of Digital
Marketing to create and/or coordinate email sends. Minimum
Requirements: ---High school diploma or equivalent with at least
two years completed toward an undergraduate college degree in a
related discipline such as marketing, English, journalism, graphic
design, or communications. ---Energetic and creative with a
positive attitude. ---Superior verbal and written communication
skills. ---High ability to build effective working relationships.
---Demonstrate a proficient use of technology tools (Adobe Creative
Cloud is a plus) and possess some level of graphic design skills.
---Ability to handle competing priorities effectively within
established timeframes. ---High level of integrity and trust.
---Professional demeanor.
