    They will also meet the following qualifications and possess these preferred skills:
    • Master's Degree in Education
    • Five (5) years teaching experience with a proven track record of raising student achievement scores
    • Proven success in turning best practices into outstanding academic results
    • Competency in using technology in the classroom setting
    • Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
    • Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program

      WHAT THIS ROLE WILL ACCOMPLISH
      • Ability to lead and manage adults to achieve desired outcomes
      • Ability to analyze teacher practice, provide compelling feedback, and translate that into action
      • Strong understanding of rigorous, effective instruction
      • Ability to analyze data to target instruction and inform decision making
      • Experience designing and implementing curriculum and assessments aligned with Common Core State Standards
      • Data managements tools, organizational tools, computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook)
      • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively; maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships.
      • Use feedback from the Principal and Chief Academic Officer to update the Individual Professional Development Plan.
      • 12 month employee
      • Works as a member of the School Leadership Team
      • Reports to the Principal (Full-Time Admin)
      • Coordinates onboarding for all new students
        • Works with Family Coordinator to meet and coordinate start-up needs and deliverables with family (uniform, lockers, tour, etc.)
        • Works with Data Coordinator as needed to develop schedule
        • Manages, observes, and provides feedback for advisory Grade 7-11th
          • Evaluates and approved all curriculum and develops scope/sequence
          • Provides weekly observations and coaching to College/Career Advisors
          • Ensures teacher gradebooks are update-to-date weekly
            • Audits gradebooks weekly and coordinates quarterly closeout
            • Coordinates with College/Career Advisors weekly on report card delivery
            • Manages and coordinates all CCR Testing and Logistics (AP/SAT/Etc.)
              • Coordinates as needed with Director of CCR
              • Manages and provides targeted coaching to students Grade 7-11th
                • Schedules and plans parent and student meetings as needed for academic intervention
                • Coordinates with College/Career Advisors to coach RTI students academically (GPA/Graduation)
                • Plans and coordinates all Grade Level Culture Events
                  • Field Trips, Academic Celebrations, College Visits
                  • Oversight of Starfish/Lilly Mentorship Programs
                    • Coordinates all guest logistics and outcomes reporting as needed
                    • Responsible for Grade Level Specific CCR Outcomes
                      • 7/8th Grade = 21st Century ScholarTrack Enrollment
                      • 11th Grade = Badge Credentialing with Employ Indy
                      • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
