position is in the Equipment Development Group (EDG), which is part
of the Manufacturing Engineering Services (MES) organization within
Indianapolis Facilities Management (IFM). The mission of EDG is to
provide innovative engineering and equipment solutions in support
of the strategies of our customers across the global Eli Lilly
research, development, and manufacturing communities. We integrate
new and established technologies both internally and by
facilitating external suppliers to create world-class solutions for
a wide variety of technical challenges. Position Overview:This
position will provide electronic technician support to the
Equipment Development business. The EDG Electronic Technician
position involves panel design, layout, wiring, and
troubleshooting. Additional duties include creation of electrical
schematics, circuit design, participation in electrical design
safety evaluations, installation, and validation activities. EDG
Electronic Technicians are frequently called upon to lead small
projects, interact with customers, determine user requirements, and
conduct investigations and evaluations of electrical components and
their suitability for intended use. Key
Objectives/Deliverables:
- Contribution and review of project User Requirements
documents.
- Electrical system design and architecture.
- Creation of electrical schematics and Bill of Material
generation.
- Content provider for design and materials validation
documents.
- Participation on design and project teams.
- Wire panels and machines
- Order electrical components needed
- Research components needed to perform required objectivesBasic
Qualification:
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 Years of Maintenance or Manufacturing Experience
- Completion of Post Offer Exam, or Completion of Work Simulation
if applicable.Additional Skills Preferences:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related
engineering or science degree, and/or equivalent work
experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical design package or
equivalent.
- Some familiarity with Allen-Bradley RSLogix programming
environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems including CMMS (e.g., GMARS)
and Microsoft Office Products.
- Good documentation practices and communication skills (both
written and verbal)
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting process related
equipment failures
- Experience with GAMP 4.0 design guidelines
- UL508A Certification
- MTR Certification
- Experience within a regulated industry; FDA regulated
industries preferred
- Ability to perform quality work without close supervision
- Experience in providing a high-level of customer service
- Ability to follow written procedures while performing
maintenance activities
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Track record of maintaining a neat and orderly work area (good
housekeeping)
- Demonstrated record of maintaining a safe work environment,
working safely and accountable for supporting all Health, Safety,
and Environmental (HSE) Corporate and Site Goals.Additional
