Technician Second ShiftWhat You Will Do:
- Troubleshoot and upgrade automation and controls systems for
use in various manufacturing equipment including assembly
processes, material handling, coatings process, mechanical presses,
hydraulic presses, rivet machines, testing equipment, robot
integration, conveyors, vision systems, scanning, electroplating,
abrasive polishing, and material movement automation
- Diagnose and problem solve issues regarding motion controllers,
motor controls, sensors, vision systems, and lasers
- Support and work alongside maintenance technicians, process and
manufacturing engineering, tool makers, MES team, production
members, machine operators, and IT networking and infrastructure
groups in a collaborative team environment
- Read, understand, and maintain mechanical and electrical
schematics, blueprints, and other documentation
- Design and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD
- Layout, assemble, and wire electrical control cabinets and
panelsWhat You Need to Succeed:
- Associates degree in related field preferred
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Electrical Engineering Associates
- Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technology
- Computer Integrated Manufacturing
- Maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years of strong related experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC electrical
systems
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC Ladder logic,
HMI systems, and industrial networking
- Comfortable with Studio 5000 and Allen Bradley Programmable
Controllers
- Familiarity with Universal Robots and Yaskawa Motoman robots is
preferred
- Problem solving and design skills in electrical circuits and
control systems
- Understanding of NFPA 70 codes and electrical circuit
design
- Research, problem solving, innovative thinking skills
- Strong Technical Communication skills
- Tenacity for finding the root cause of issues and implementing
