Job Description:

TEKsystems has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer who will be responsible for the doing day to day Network Engineering and recommendations for the network equipment and associated peripherals. This person will maintain, troubleshoot and design network equipment on a day to day basis. They will be handling network level tickets.
Day to day operations and support of equipment:

  Network design and support for upcoming equipment upgrades/replacements
  
  
• 
  Router and switch configuration/troubleshooting
  
  
• 
  Troubleshooting firewall issues
  
  
• 
  Support Avaya hardware and associated software
  
  
  Top Skills' Details
  
  
• 
  Routing and Switching Troubleshooting: Client uses Extreme Networking Equipment, but Cisco experience will be acceptable
  
  
• 
  Cabling + Patching Experience
  
  
• 
  Wireless Network Troubleshooting
