Aurorium is committed to operating at the highest levels of manufacturing consistency, quality control and safety.Job Summary:The Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and management of various programs in ensuring the maintenance and safe operation of a 24/7 chemical manufacturing facility by analyzing and monitoring processes and equipment for continuous improvement. Responsibilities:Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Developing equipment Bill of Materials (BOM's)
  • Management of the rotating equipment reliability program with specific focus on centrifugal pumps, vibration analysis, mechanical seals, and lubrication
  • Miscellaneous technical support to the site as needed, including providing team leadership and project management for related installations and modifications to improve the facilities' infrastructure and equipment reliability and uptimeCompliance:
    • Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and arrangements
    • Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
    • Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times Problem Solving and Innovation:
      • Active participation in continuous improvement activities
      • Participates in problem-solving
      • Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
      • Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members
      • Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance
        Qualifications/Desired Skills:Education and Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred Experience:
          • Five (5) or more years of technical manufacturing support experience required, chemical manufacturing experience preferred
          • Demonstrated experience in the SAP PM Module preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
            • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities
            • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex own style as needed to influence and drive results
            • Ability to work within a multi-functional, global organizational structure and exhibits robust interpersonal skills
            • Exhibits a passion for continuous improvement and problem solving
            • Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
            • Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities which allow assessments of situations and opportunities
            • Demonstrated experience planning and working with multi-disciplinary teams
            • Effective communication of progress and results through formal and informal channels
            • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
            • Proven ingenuity for utilizing broad Engineering concepts to address complex problems
            • Strong sense of commercial awareness and the ability to apply/relate to overall business goals and objectives
