Job Description:

One of our industry-leading clients currently has a full-time position available for an experienced water/wastewater engineer. Responsibilities:

• The Water/Wastewater Engineer will perform complex assignments exercising judgment in the evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Creating detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems, including plans and specifications, site layouts, and size and select equipment
• Perform construction phase engineering tasks including field investigations, submittal reviews, and construction observation
• Plan and prepare, or review, technical specifications and other procurement and contract documents in collaboration with senior and mid-level technical staff
• Collaborating with project managers and clients toward the implementation of designs; writing engineering reports and technical memoranda Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, agricultural, biological engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Professional Engineering Licensed
  • Experience in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D for design plan production
  • Demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following: drinking water treatment and reuse, wastewater treatment, master planning, conveyance and storage, and/or treatment processes and technologies
  • Experience presenting technical concepts to municipalities through written reports and presentations
