Apply here to start an extraordinary career today.AES's US Transmission and Distribution (T&D) businesses in Indiana and Ohio are seeking a Project Planning Engineer to develop long-term maintenance and investment project plans to be included in the capital budget. Under general supervision, the Project Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing the scope, estimate, and schedule of assigned projects. Assigned projects will include primarily capital investments including asset replacements, maintenance, customer growth, Smart Grid, renewable energy integration, and general operations.Primary duties:

• Create scope of work documents, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects engaging engineering and other SME's as required.
• Build the project business case using reliability, integrated system planning, and other inputs.
• Provide bid specifications to Supply Chain in accordance with the procurement process.
• Compile detailed work plans for the Project Management Organization, Engineering, and Operations teams to execute.
