Job Description:
As a result of rapid growth and expansion, our client has
retained us to fill a highly visible Director Industrial
Engineering. This role is highly visible and due to its importance
to the overall organization, the selected leader will be earmarked
for succession planning and promotion to Sr. Director Industrial
Engineering & Continuous Improvement. Our client is an industry
leader, who has been growing aggressively with revenues in excess
of $40 Million and on their way to $200 Million. As a result of
this aggressive growth, they have asked us to identify an
Industrial Engineering professional who has both strong project
management skills, as well as solid Continuous Improvement
accomplishments. This leader, who can relate to senior leadership
as well as the boots on the ground leadership. A proven leader of
people with a passion to succeed who wants to be associated with a
growing business on the ground floor. The ideal candidate will have
the ability to develop into an Senior Director Industrial
Engineering & Continuous Improvement as the company and role
continues to grow! Director Industrial Engineering Our client is
committed to hiring the best of the best total compensation will
vary based on the individual s experience Located in Indianapolis,
IN Area The Director Industrial Engineering will be a SUBJECT
MATTER EXPERT, performing engineering assessments looking at base
line costs and performance and improving the CPU within the four
walls. This individual must have experience presenting to the C
Suite on projects.
Provide technical support during startup or new implementation with
the validation of base line performance.
Capacity thru statistical and time study approach.
Lead a team of engineers and CI Supervisors to provide support on
all engineering standards.
Identify new metrics for efficiency
Strong analytical skills and project driven.
Strong communication skills to update stakeholders both internally
and externally.
Mapping, modeling and video business process to improve business
capabilities
Creating process documentation (S.O.P., OPL, WI, Training Records)
and templates.
Minimum undergraduate degree in business, engineering, finance,
logistics, or related field.
Experience in high volume, high sku count, high transaction
distribution/3PL environment or manufacturing environment with Lean
principles
