We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Designer to join a talented Electrical/Instrumentation team for a full service engineering firm headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. If you’re passionate about designing complex power systems for industrial environments and want to be part of a company that builds the backbone of American industry, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a driven professional with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within the heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process plant sectors. This role offers the flexibility of contract-to-hire, with the potential for direct hire for the right candidate. Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of the Dayton office. Hybrid options are available. You will have the opportunity to join a highly experienced and collaborative team to work on meaningful, large-scale industrial projects that keep industries running. Expertise and Experience Requirements: · 7 years of experience in electrical design, ideally for industrial or manufacturing projects. · Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, power distribution, cable sizing, lighting design, and associated systems. · Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential. · Working knowledge of P&IDs and integration with electrical systems. · A collaborative mindset and a detail-oriented approach to engineering design.
