      • Job DescriptionSummary of General Responsibilities

        The Business Development Manager role at TruPay will work within a protected geographic territory targeting employer groups with less than 1000 employees. We are looking for dynamic individuals that can work in a fast-paced quota driven environment, while utilizing a consultative approach to their sales process. You will be responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting, telemarketing, and sales database management to achieve monthly and annual sales quotas.

        Responsibilities and Duties

        • Identify potential clients through networking, prospecting, telemarketing, and sales database management
        • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with referral sources, like CPA's, banks, and brokers
        • Demonstrate the TruPay sales process by consistently utilizing strategic selling analysis and process
        • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales activity and sales targets
        • Record all sales activity in our sales management and CRM tools
        • Prepare and present proposals, as well as, provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process
        • Determine prospective customers' need for Payroll, HCM and more, followed by presenting TruPay services to meet those needs

          Education and Experience

          • 2-5 years of experience in a quota-driven, business to business position
          • Excellent prospecting and new business development skills
          • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
          • Critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections throughout the sales cycle
          • Strong organizational and time management skills
          • Strong listening skills and ability to form relationships with senior decision makers
          • College degree strongly desired
