talented Product Management Director --- Eaton Cummins Automated
Transmission Technologies to join our team in Galesburg, Michigan.
The right leader can be based in Michigan, Indiana or surrounding
states. In this role, you will make an impact in the following
ways: Construct Product Value Proposition: Creates Product Line
Strategy including platform healthcheck / longevity and
lifecycleConstruct Product Value Proposition (Competitive value
assessment, Value statement, Value package profile (product and
support), Product Positioning)Build Product Marketing Plan
including product roadmap for full lifecycle (new and current
product), software features, application coverage and value
enhancementsBuild Pricing strategy by product and feature across
all OEMsBuild Promotion Plan,Documented and fully budgeted and
resourced promotion planPlace: Channel (OEM, dealer, end-user)
training and support planOptimize Product Profitability, Detailed
product profitability analysis for segment (by product type,
emissions level, OEM)Product gross margin $ and % meets
quarterly/annual targetCost reduction roadmap, including warranty,
component cost (VA/VE & supplier reductions), production costManage
Product Lifecycle, Product quality understood with plans in place
to optimize Cost of Coverage and customer experienceProduct plan
for market defined and communicatedSet and track optimal market
share targets by market and applicationUses market research
capabilities to plan for and implement an appropriate approach
based on the understanding of target market and competitorsDefines
and adopts, in the target market, a specific stance relative to the
competition with the use of market research capabilitiesDrives

issues in relation to productDevelops, implements, and measures
results of product promotionsCollaborates with other functions and
global locations to ensure global profitability of the product
lineRecommends marketing process changes that will improve Value
Package Introduction and ValueDirects a team of Senior Product
Managers and Product Managers to ensure that product launches and
ongoing product management maximizes organizational
resultsInterprets broad business, market and industry trends to
drive successful product launchesDevelops the long-term product
strategy, forecast, and the annual operating planProvides product
line budget requirements into the business unit annual operating
planDirects the development of product introduction plans through
Senior Product Managers and Product ManagersEnsures that the
marketing mix reflects current trends and business needs in support
of product managementPresents marketing approach for functional
review and to the change management review groupDrives an
environment of intellectual property protection within the
organizationCollaborates with legal counsel and engineering to
understand and promote asset protection trends and toolsDirects
market research capabilities to ensure that product management has
the tools to thoroughly understand target market and
competitorsDefines and adopts, in the target market, a specific
stance relative to the competition with the use of market research
capabilitiesEnsures that the product branding strategy is
implemented effectively, and leads and supports internal and
external communications in relations to the product rangeDrives
improvements through ongoing customer satisfaction activitiesDrives
process and tool changes to ensure that ongoing customer issues are
resolvedEnsures that appropriate resources, both people and tools,
are available to successfully product launchesGuides the
development, implementation, and measurement of results of product
promotionsRepresents the interests of product management with other
functions and global locations to ensure global collaboration and
maximum profitability of the product lines under
managementChampions functional excellence; drives marketing process
changes that will improve Value Package Introduction and Value
Package Change processesCoaches and motivates Senior Product
Managers and Product Managers; provides guidance and direction on

including strategy, managerial, and budgetary experience. Broad
