Staff VP Organizational Change ManagementLocation: Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, IN preferred. May consider other major Anthem office locations. South Portland, ME; Manchester, NH; Wallingford, CT; New York, NY; Mason, OH; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO; Richmond/Virginia Beach, VA; Waukesha, WI; Los Angeles, CA.In this transformational leadership role, Staff VP, Organizational Change Management will proactively engage with business partners and stakeholders to understand business operations and goals and define the overarching and holistic Change Management strategy to include organizational change plans using a structured and consistent methodology to include all necessary impact and stakeholder analyses, readiness assessments and develop key measures of success. In this fast paced environment, the Staff VP, Organizational Change Management, will be a thought leader and work directly with business leaders across complex business areas and platforms to prioritize key components of the change management strategy that will improve opportunities to deliver value. To achieve these priorities, the Staff VP, Organizational Change Management will have the opportunity to build a high performing team and establish a network of change champions. A successful and effective leader will ensure a consistent and structured change approach that will align with our culture resulting in an exceptional experience for all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develops and executes Organizational Change Management (OCM) plans in full coordination with senior leadership to meet strategic and operational goals ensuring clearly defined dependencies, risks and critical paths. Develops OCM strategy based on accurate understanding of the change and groups being impacted by the change. Develops strategy and plans that deliver adoption, utilization and proficiency with the change/transformation. This includes, but is not limited to, sponsorship roadmap, readiness plan, communications plan, change network approach, training plan etc. Consults and advises project teams on OCM strategies and plans and helps develop change capability within the enterprise-wide transformation owned projects. Socializes and executes against change management plans and extract insights using various methods and communication feedback loop(s) to assess organization---s willingness and ability to adopt required change. Manages measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of change. Establishes framework to develop change capabilities in our leaders and associates in collaboration with key stakeholders and to align with Anthem Culture. Creates and implements change networks and supports the execution of plans by managers, business leaders and project team members. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. QualificationsRequires a BA/BS; Master---s degree preferred.10 years--- experience orchestrating organizational change in a complex business and/or systems environment; 5 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders required.
