General Description of Position: The Assistant Vice President for Recruitment Strategy (AVP) reports directly to the Vice President for Recruitment & Enrollment Management for the oversight of recruitment operations at the College. The AVP will work directly with campus and Systems Office teams to increase inquiries, facilitate lead generation, monitor data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, and utilize a client relationships management tool to ensure consistent outreach initiatives. Major Responsibilities: Oversees adult and K-12 recruitment operations and develops, implements, and works with the Vice President of Recruitment and Enrollment Management and the AVP of Enrollment Strategy to execute a multi-year and annual comprehensive recruitment plan.Designs and implements recruitment plans to successfully meet college and campus-level metrics for revenue-generating enrollment, leading to completion, retention, and student success.

Works with campus and Systems Office teams to increase inquiries and applications, facilitate lead generation, and create a seamless handoff to enrollment of prospective adult and K-12 students while decreasing cost per inquiry.Develops and implements intentional and inclusive recruitment initiatives aligned with the college's strategic plan.Identifies and employs innovative recruitment and marketing strategies for prospective K-12 graduates and adults to drive enrollment growth across programs in alignment with college goals.Develops a strategy to increase the percentage of students enrolling in the College directly from high school, including home school and dual credit students.Develops statewide CBO/FBO/industry/association/agency partnerships which drive recruitment such as Achieve Your Degree and Taking Hoosiers to the Next Level.Develops a contact management recruitment strategy that utilizes the client relationships tool: IvyConnect, various social networking platforms and other forms of communication to recruit prospective students, ensuring consistent efforts with other ongoing statewide outreach initiatives.Works in collaboration with campus teams to create an annual WIG and 4DX accountability structure.Monitors and assesses data to provide real-time recruitment/conversion reports and to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.Works closely in collaboration with Student Success, Marketing, Academics, CCEC/Workforce Alignment, etc. to develop initiatives for prospective K-12 students that promote enrollment for completion.Develops annual admissions forecasts and predictive models/analytics for prospective students.Analyzes various market segments throughout the state and develops strategy to target.Coordinates recruitment communications between Systems Office and the Campuses.Builds and sustains a training program for campus level recruitment and enrollment services staff.Provides additional campus support as directed by the Vice President for Recruitment & Enrollment.Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Vice President for Recruitment & Enrollment
SUPERVISION GIVEN: TBD by Vice President for Recruitment & Enrollment Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required.Minimum three years of progressive leadership experience in recruitment. Proven success in creating and implementing strategic recruitment plans.Demonstrated project management skills to oversee several projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively.Experience with CRM systems to manage recruitment and enrollment efforts required.Must be a highly efficient, effective, and results-oriented individual with strong business acumen, proven experience leading, motivating, and managing a team, and knowledge of best practices and current trends in the recruitment field.Experience managing student/member related data and reporting.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proven ability to identify key issues and to carry forward an idea or project from conception to execution.

Track record of thinking conceptually and mastering complex subject matter quickly.

Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily with senior leaders within the higher education, charitable, government, and business sectors.

Ability to partner well with colleagues both in and outside of the organization.

Must demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
