The Client Vice President position includes a comprehensive benefit package, training program and competitive salary! Overview: the Client Vice President delivers results oriented, strategic consultation to our clients to successfully meet their expectations in a manner that is beneficial to both the client and Key Family. Client Vice President Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong client and broker relationships, being extremely responsive to the needs of both. Must be able to maintain a positive flow of communication with clients, brokers and with the service areas within Key Family.
  • Actively oversee assigned accounts, both large and small, establishing, and leading client and broker expectations. Effectively manage clients and brokers (i.e., take responsibility to seek out and address issues with clients and brokers and lead them to a positive solution).
  • Perform all requirements of service models for each client type and size, maintaining a retention rate for clients of 90% or higher while also meeting all client/product goals set forth in the service models. This includes effectively presenting the value proposition as required.
  • Client relationship goals must be created, executed, tracked and budgeted according to the budget and service model guidelines.
  • Track all open and escalated issues of clients and meet with proper internal staff and/or vendor partners to resolve these items.
  • Knowledgeable in all types of benefit plans. Identify needs and sell solutions that feature other Key Family products and services to clients.
  • Must be a student of the business-that is, be knowledgeable of new developments, practices and trends in our industry and among our competitors. Must possess and keep up-to-date Insurance License.
  • Must be able to implement innovative and cost-effective solutions with the client. Prepare and present renewal proposals that include services, fee structure and time frames. Accurately create and deliver interim and renewal packets to clients.
  • Required travel to meet with clients and brokers. Coordinate and conduct client employee enrollment meetings, presentations and announcement materials for assigned clients. Responsible for being and staying informed on client issues and initiatives and track all information related to the accounts.
  • Successfully coordinate all third-party service providers and provide timely troubleshooting services when necessary.
  • Take ownership for the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all KBA services.
  • Attend and participate in all Client Services required monthly Consulting Meetings, regular department meetings and training sessions. Responsible for being and staying informed on client issues and initiatives. Client Vice President Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management level staff.
    • Ability to effectively present ideas and influence decisions.
    • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of benefit strategy, plan design, pricing, and plan management.
    • Possess or the ability to obtain a Life, Accident & Health Producer Insurance license & complete continuing education yearly to renew license.
    • Requires a broad business perspective and the ability to think and operate strategically.
    • 5+ years of health care insurance experience preferred.
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
