Testing for Public Safety, LLC (dba IPSP)5948 North College Avenue, 2nd floor, Indianapolis, IN 46220Phone: (317) 259 - 4285-- --www.ipsp.net--JOB DESCRIPTION--Job Title:----Project ManagerJob Summary:----Implement and assist with employment testing projects------(with progression to Senior Project Manager/Consultant position)--Essential Job Tasks:--Schedule and administer test eventsPrepare for development meetings with clientsAttend virtual or in-person meetings with clients to select interview questions and assessment center exercisesCreate interview questions and job simulation exercises--Travel and work independently off-site at client locations (in Indiana and neighboring states)Administer/proctor written exams to small and large groups of job candidatesTrain Subject Matter Experts to conduct structured interviewsPrepare and organize paperwork and testing materialsUse computer testing software to design, organize, and report resultsCommunicate with department contacts via email, phone, and in personTroubleshoot and help solve department-specific logistical issuesWrite and review multiple-choice test questionsInitiate validation studies with clientsAdministrative duties as needed--Essential Position Requirements:Travel required (use shared company car when available; rent vehicle when cost-effective, or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursed)--Able to work weekends and evenings (two weekends minimum per month)Self-motivated and drivenStrong planning and organizational skillsProfessional demeanorComfortable with varying work environmentsAdaptable to changing demands and schedulesCollaborative with colleagues (open to receiving and offering guidance)Excellent writing abilityAdept at learning new softwareEnthusiasm for working with groups of people of varying sizes (5-200)------Ability to work cooperatively with staff and clientsAbility to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive materialsStrong interpersonal skills (i.e., meeting with various personnel of public safety organizations, including Chief-level)Grow to become comfortable in public speaking, if not already--Dependability --- be punctual, reliable, and resourcefulBachelor---s degree required, graduate degree preferred (in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or social sciences areas of study)----Testing for Public Safety, LLC is a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), promoting equal employment opportunity without discrimination based on age, race, creed, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or Vietnam Era Veteran status.Testing for Public Safety, LLC is a Midwest consulting firm located in Indianapolis, which specializes in the development and administration of entry- level and promotion testing.
