We are known for providing a fun and flexible work environment which allows our employees to achieve their personal, business, family and financial goals.The Agency Manager (AM) role is a leadership position responsible for building, developing and managing a team of Sales Coordinators and Agents that generate sales from new business clients, and provides sales and service support to current Combined Insurance policyholders. The AM is responsible for recruiting and training new Agents, developing Sales Coordinator leadership, and delivering annual new sales objectives in an assigned territory by driving the sales process and using effective performance management techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIESField recruiting new Agent candidatesEstablish local networks and sources within the territory to find qualified new Agent candidatesConduct informational recruiting seminars for prospective new Agents as neededRepresent the company at local job fairs or other hiring eventsConduct interviews with prospective AgentsHire New Agent candidates and/or make recommendations for hire to Market Director (MD)
FIELD TRAININGField train all new Agents for a minimum of 3 days during their first week in the field and help them achieve their benchmark goalsField train all new agents 1-3 days during weeks 2-5 as neededField train established Agents by accompanying them during client meetings as needed. Most days are spent with an Agent in the fieldDevelop expertise in all aspects of the sales process with each AgentMANAGEMENTDevelop competencies and skills in individual agents and the team that leads to meeting or exceeding goalsSupport Agents in prospecting, appointment setting, and closing as neededServe as primary liaison to HRBP to work through any performance issues with AgentsIdentify performance issues and initiate action plans based on established processes
COMPETENCIESDemonstrated ability to lead a team of sales agents to meet or exceed goals consistently (insurance industry experience a plus but experience building a sales team in other industries is acceptable as well)Ability to develop a business plan for growing and sustaining a sales teamProfessional verbal and written communication skills, affinity to the value of personal brandCoaching and mentoring skills, desire to see others achieveAbility to lead and facilitate group training meetings
EXPECTATIONSConduct weekly meetings with the team for the purpose of training, development, and motivationAttend quarterly and weekly strategy meetings with Market Director and teamMeet territory growth goals in sales premium and recruitmentBe able to effectively demonstrate the companys sales process
