financial success.Job SummaryThe Retirement Services (RS) Head of
Finance will serve as the lead actuarial and financial executive
for the RS division (Recordkeeping and Institutional Markets).This
position will oversee financial planning and forecasting, financial
reporting and analysis, and budgeting and expense management for
the RS division, as well as, pricing and profitability and
incentive compensation administration for the Recordkeeping
business.The role will report to and partner with the President of
Retirement Services as a key advisor and will collaborate closely
with the RS Leadership Team, RS Extended Leadership Team and
functional leaders across the enterprise, including the CFO and
Chief Actuary.Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior financial partner to the President of RS,
key member of the RS Leader Team and RS Extended Leadership Team,
as well as, the lead RS financial partner to the company CFO and
Chief Actuary
- Assess and evaluate financial performance of the RS business
with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and
forecast
- Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and
long-term growth plan of the RS business
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports including
profit and loss and forecast vs. budget for the RS business
- Review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual results and
provide recommendations to include expense and revenue levers
- Oversee pricing to ensure balance between customer value and
sustainable profitability
- Lead earnings analysis and financial projections to enhance
decision making across the organization
- Assess RS actuarial and finance organization and structure to
determine priorities for change and investment
- Recruit, develop and retain the highest quality actuarial and
financial staff
- Cultivate leaders and talent. Evaluate employees' performance
and potential to prepare them for succession and /or additional
responsibilities
- Provides outside in perspective and develops financial and
actuarial strategies to address critical business

services industry. Retirement business experience preferred.

employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a
