Job DescriptionThe Senior Product Manager position is an
opportunity to work with highly sophisticated and reputable clients
and customers to define and design components of the applications
that help solve their business challenges, providing consultative
guidance and enabling strong partnerships on all project
assignments. Primarily working remotely and on-site at a customer
location when needed, you will work as part of a project team to
ensure that the business and technical architecture of the
delivered solution matches customer expectations. You may also be
asked to lead aspects of the scrum, design, testing, and even
mentoring of resources.Picture Yourself at Hoverstate:You are a
partner with the customer and the technical teams. This
consultative role aligns strategic goals with business and IT
initiatives and the related systems that link these aspects of the
enterprise together. The Senior Product Manager works with a
dynamic project team to structure the enterprise in its business
capabilities, business information, data, and business
processes.What You'll Do at Hoverstate:
- Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop high-quality
deliverables across all phases of a project (from identifying and
defining business strategy, goals, objectives, business
capabilities, process flows, use cases, epics, user stories, to
user acceptance testing)
- Be a key contributor during the "pre-sales" cycle, working
closely with sales and leadership teams, leveraging your expertise
during discovery sessions.
- Leverage industry and professional experience to consult and
influence the client's direction
- Demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for customer success
by ensuring the delivered product is fully functioning, performs to
business requirements, and meets or exceeds expectations
- Drive customer elaboration sessions, business analysis, and
documenting future state solutions as a result of the elaboration
sessions
- Create high-level scope documents and roadmaps for
deliverables
- Plan and deliver Sprint Demos and stakeholder reviews
- Support our Sales team and other leaders in the pursuit of new
opportunities
- Explore various industry-standard methodologies and communicate
policies and procedures to clients, partners, and teammates
- Mentor and train client business stakeholders in crucial
functionality
- Provide technical training and user support to the customer's
businessWho you are:
- An intelligent, motivated, collaborative individual with
exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with
diverse teams of business users and IT teams
- Have experience successfully implementing an extensive business
process management system (Pega, Salesforce, Servicenow, Microsoft
Dynamics, etc.)
- Driven by your passion for building amazing products
- A good eye for user experience and design
- Maintain excellent time management and organization skills,
with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Aptitude to learn quickly and a superb attention to detail and
process orientation
- Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on
achieving outcomes
- A willingness to go the extra mile to solve the problem
- Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results
- Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites (post-pandemic)What
You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of progressively responsible relevant
experience in business architecture, business analysis, requirement
gathering, systems analysis, data analysis, design, and development
of enterprise application systems
- Achieved expert level experience in SCRUM Agile and other
hybrid delivery models (Agile certifications are a plus)Hoverstate
