Reporting to the Senior Director, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, the Training Manager is responsible for implementation of the learning and development strategy and for creation of a dynamic and effective learning environment, and will work across the POINT organization to support training activities in manufacturing, pre-clinical, clinical, regulatory, and general operations ensuring quality throughout the entire company. Key Objectives: Contribute to the achievement of the companys strategic goals through the establishment and management of a robust GMP training program. Develop, implement, and maintain the POINT learning system and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. Ensure that all company personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform their respective job responsibilities in accordance with GMP requirements. Establish a robust training strategy in partnership with senior leaders. Develop, implement, and maintain the POINT learning system and associated procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. Partner with department leadership to ensure appropriate learning curricula are in place for all employees. Develop and deliver effective new hire orientation programs are in place. Utilize the Trackwise training management module to effectively assign, track, and trend all employee training Benchmark across industries to develop best in class learning environment. Requirements BS/BA degree is required. A degree in a technical discipline would be an asset. Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in employee education and development. Background in managing training and development in a cGMP environment (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, or other regulated industry) is preferred. Competencies Hands-on experience with authoring and developing training documentation, training presentations, and training curricula. Excellent oral and written communication skills to draft, develop, and deliver GMP training courses. Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop department-specific training courses and curricula. Ability to plan, develop and execute multiple projects under stringent timelines.
