Enterprise Portfolio Management - Manager

Deloitte's Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) team is looking for a high-performing Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will offer a unique opportunity to work across the Deloitte Consulting and cross-business networks with a highly visible and in-demand team that reports to US Consulting's Chief Strategy Officer and Deloitte's Integrated Services & Offering leader. The position will sit in US Consulting National Office.

Work you'll do

Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) supports business leadership across three priority pillars:

  • Inform: Proactively informs our business and strategies with EPM and regulatory considerations
  • Optimize: Optimizes revenue and strategic opportunities by efficiently navigating regulatory constraints and mitigating conflicts
  • Influence: Advocates for Deloitte's relationship businesses (Advisory, Consulting, Tax) while working cross-functionally and challenging our traditional thinking as we move to a "One Business" mindset
    This role will be responsible for advancing efforts across EPM's continuum of activities including:
    • Business channel choices, conflicts, and optimization
    • Deal navigation and complex consultations
    • Strategic initiatives and priorities
    • EPM operations and integration across Deloitte's businesses
    • Executive leadership presentations and reporting
      The team

      Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) is a "heart of the business" enabling function that brings deep insights to tackle some of the firm's most complex challenges. EPM's mandate is to optimize our business footprint and unlock blocked revenue by effectively navigating cross-business conflicts and regulatory constraints, while reducing tension. Optimization requires EPM to proactively inform our business leaders on implications for strategy and investment considerations, as well as vision to see beyond the firm's current state to influence and optimize for our business of tomorrow.

      Qualifications

      Required:
      • Skillset and ability to take on strategic, sensitive, and complex activities in support of EPM leadership, interacting directly with firm leaders
        • Foundational consulting skills and ability to diligently progress multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
        • Strong relationship skills for both conflict resolution and strategic deal coaching scenarios-especially working with the same people on issues over an extended period of time
          • Tolerance for ambiguity and a "figure it out along the way" mindset
            • High degree of agility and resiliency
              • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
                Preferred:
                • Strong leadership qualities to evangelize around a new function
                • Technical understanding of the audit function and independence/regulatory rules
