Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a Marketing Manager to
join our Marketing team in Indianapolis, IN. This position is
responsible for managing and developing cohesive marketing
strategies and generate innovative ideas to promote global
products, solutions, and services towards prioritized
verticals/channels/customer groups to ensure sustainable

- Supports Strategic Marketing through the definition and
execution of the overarching marketing strategy for the Group
- Contributes to 1-year global marketing planning across Strategy
& Marketing, Regions and Global Product & Solutions teams in close
alignment with overarching Group Strategy planning
- Develops the messaging framework/content strategy for the
assigned products/solutions/services and/or prioritized
verticals/channels/customer groups, in full alignment with
dormakaba value promises
- Works with Products & Solutions team and Regions on strong and
relevant positioning to ensure appropriate, ownable, consistent and
impactful messages towards our targeted customer base
- Secures and supports MarCom and Digital & Social Engagement
teams through the creation / execution / deployment of strategic
content
- Leads the definition of overarching marketing strategy & plans
for the assigned scope of global products / solutions, ensuring
full alignment with dormakaba overarching marketing strategy
- Acts as marketing business partner for Products & Solutions
team
- Uses voice of the customer and market insights to develop
appropriate elements of the marketing mix in support of sales and
marketing objectives
- Conducts research to identify understand customer/stakeholder
preferences and market opportunities to support campaign
creations
- Leads and oversees the delivery of the marketing plans and
associated engagement activities and promotions (incl. integrated,
on- & off-line marketing campaigns), contributing to
cross-functional teams across MarCom, Digital Marketing (Digital &
Social Engagement team) and local sales & marketing organizations,
playing a coordinating role across the organisation as
appropriate
- Ensures outcomes from campaign evaluations as well as
commissioned market research are shared and influence future
projects, including feedback to Products & Solutions and global
MarCom teams
- Drives customer journey improvement (design & optimization) for
assigned customer groups / market segments, in close coordination
with Products & Solutions (Customer Process Management)
- Drives market analysis and operational execution on assigned
strategic initiatives/ projects (e.g., new business models/
go-to-market/ market segments)
- Leads/supports assigned specific Strategic Business Development
activities as requiredRequirements
- University degree in business economics, marketing, or other
degree but proven equivalent experience acquired, MBA a plus
- 7+ years of work experiences in strategic and operation
Marketing roles in an international environment, notably in the
building technology
- Both in house and strategy consultant experience a plus
- Strong track record in marketing strategy and sales
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Competitive, team player, creativity, resilience, cultural
sensitivity
- Market, sales, and customer orientation
- A start-up mentality, high sense of urgency with ability to
challenge the status quo and drive new ways of managing marketing
