JOB DESCRIPTION Your primary responsibility will be to -collaborate with the CEO in the development, implementation and execution of the company's financial planning and strategy, ensuring full transparency over the financial performance of the company to ELT and Board of Directors. - DIRECTING Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting. Directing long term financial planning, forecasting and results management. Provide counseling and guidance to team members at all levels of the organization on how to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking. Developing and maintaining relationships with lending/financial institutions, insurance providers, venture capital partners, and Board of Directors. STRATEGY Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options, fundraising and capital structure to support company growth. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments, and effectively and communicating potential risks in a timely manner. Developing company-development models, along with cash flow forecasting. ADMINISTRATIVE Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting reports. Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns and information. MANAGEMENT Managing physical inventory count of appreciating assets tied to the organizations growing line of credit, and ensuring the appropriate amount of insurance and bond. Timely administration of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable , ensuring cash flow is appropriate for operations. - Building the finance department as the company grows, hiring, training, developing and managing direct reports. - SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, - or similar field required (MBA Preferred) Candidate must be eligible to attain Indiana alcohol permit Must be able to gain access to military bases SKILLS Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods In depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software Strong leadership and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time EXPERIENCE 5+ years of - proven experience as a financial -officer -or senior financial manager is required 7+ years of progressive management experience in finance and business development Demonstrated success in taking a high-growth, rapidly scaling organization to that next level, increasing top-line revenue growth and improving margins, with strong P&L and balance sheet management and solid financial and business acumen. Successful development and execution of complex strategic plans across multiple disciplines, ensuring collaboration and cooperation among key stakeholders - Previous experience working in a fast paced growing start up environment is strongly preferred Merger and acquisition-related experience is strongly preferred
