The Senior Account Manager Level Funded Key Accounts role will work directly with the Health Plans. This position is designed to establish and cultivate strategic business relationships with the Health Plans and their brokers. This position will work closely with the Health Plans to market, educate, and promote the UnitedHealthcare and Oxford Level Funded Product in the Key Account Segment. This position will work closely with the Level Funded product development and capability team to translate business development strategies into specific initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
Own the relationships with the assigned markets Key Account Sales and Account Management Teams. -This includes VP/Director of Sales and Account Management and their teams
Serve as primary contact for assigned markets regarding the marketing of products, capabilities and processes of Level Funded and future initiatives and pilots in the Key Account Segment
Work directly with the Health Plans to identify and develop potential business opportunities for Level Funding in the Key Account Segment
Understand and communicate important market information/trends back to the Level Funded Sales & Account Management and the Product Development and Capability teams
Solid knowledge of the strengths and vulnerabilities of each of UnitedHealthcare's major competitors and report out quarterly
Develop and execute business plans to drive sales and improve persistency within assigned territory/book of business
Lead new business and renewal education, training, and other activities directly with our Health Plans
Attain Level Funded regional and health plan goals related to Level Funded Medical and Ancillary products

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience
Life & Health License (or willing and able to obtain one as required by law within 90 days of hire)
4+ years of healthcare insurance experience
2+ years of sales and account management experience in group health insurance space
Experience presenting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals or delivering projects in defined timelines
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
Effective networking and collaboration skills, with ability to influence others to achieve business goals
Willing and able to travel 25% depending on business need

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
