Director, Brand MarketingAs the Director of Brand Marketing, you will work closely with the Senior Management team to develop the marketing strategy for key areas including social media, outreach/PR, and creative.The Director of Brand Marketing role is a unique opportunity to be a key leader at USA Football focused on building awareness and engagement for the USA Football brand through digital (with focus on Content and Social Media) and physical channels (with focus on events and youth to adult football organizations).This position will build and drive the brand narrative forward by working with all layers of the USA Football community: youth organizations, high-performance clubs and national team programs, sponsors/partners, stakeholders and more. You will be responsible for the tone of voice and positioning of our brand overall.Responsibilities:

  • Bringing the brand to life, delivering experiences to our members, and aligning with key partners that help us to drive our brand forward.
  • Developing strategies to increase customer engagement through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat and more.
  • Managing the creative, social and brand experience teams to ensure they are on brand, budget and to deadline.
  • Ensuring social media is continuously growing and that social content is forward thinking and engaging
  • Working with the Senior Management team on unique, innovative, and rebranding projects
  • Creating & executing and measuring successful brand campaigns
  • Identify and prioritize audience, messaging, content/media to deliver the messaging, platform (Media and Influencer network) to deliver them, and the KPIs to measure success/learnings
  • Build and execute integrated marketing calendar to build and engage audience base, supported by internal and external resources:
    • Content creation and experimentation: to tell the brand story from our community of organizations and athletes.
    • Social Media: to grow the audience base and drive community engagement across key platforms
    • Events: to ensure our physical and virtual events align with the USA Football brand.
    • Brand partners: collaborate and coordinate with brand partners as needed
    • Collaborate with consulting/product/program marketing teams to maintain and clearly identify brand vision across all initiatives and/or programs.
    • Work with a variety of business owners/teams to plan campaigns around launches and key dates in the year
    • Provide inspiration and direction for the teams in regular creative sessions.
    • Challenge and influence at a senior level the direction of the Brand, bringing ideas, inspiration, and creative thinking.
    • Building brand deck and guidelines to drive consistency through the business
    • Research and scoping off site locations for campaign and creative shoots
    • Guiding graphic designers to ensure content is on brand and on time
    • Building relationships with ambassadors and key influencersYou are a master at being or having:
      • Highly motivated and organized
      • A strong Brand Marketing background
      • Extremely creative
      • A good strategist who can develop plans and bring to fruition
      • A strong multitasker who can keep all teams reporting to them working effectively
      • In-depth social media content and engagement strategy and execution experienceRequirements:
        • 8+ years in the marketing function in brand centric B2C sports or consumer business
        • Balanced creative and analytical approach to building brands
        • Demonstrated success in social media channels (content creation, engagement etc.)
        • Highly energetic and strong willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get things done.
