As Associate B2B Marketing Director, your goal is to support health benefit account business objectives, create market awareness and drive new interest. In this position, you will be responsible for communicating the features and benefits of our products and solutions through compelling storytelling and innovative marketing outreach. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll design, plan, manage and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to generate awareness and leads. Focusing on our employer market and their benefit partners, you'll be responsible to collaborate with product, sales, business development, account management, and internal and external agencies to develop programs that generate and nurture leads via digital campaigns, targeted advertising, email, retargeting, search, events and cooperative marketing with partners. In addition, you will develop sales enablement content, support sales efforts, assist in creating product launch strategies, create event marketing experiences, and drive customer engagement and retention through ongoing marketing programs. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, implement and continuously optimize integrated digital marketing strategy for targeted Optum Financial market segments
  • Develop thought leadership content and customer engagement programs to meet lead generation and retention goals, including recurring communication programs, blogs, webinars and events
  • Responsible for MQL and SQL lead/demand generation, measurement and reporting
  • Create and manage marketing collateral and sales enablement tools that drive alignment across product and market-facing teams and efficiently communicate with the target audience, including website content, videos, email templates, presentations, infographics and sell sheets
  • Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make; then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
  • Collaborate with product management and sales to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
  • Ensure that campaigns, assets, communications, and messaging are on brand
  • Understand the competitive landscape - be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned
  • Manage outside marketing support resources as needed You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of B2B demand generation/digital marketing and sales enablement experience
    • Highly analytical and quantitative with an ability to use data to inform business strategy
    • Proven reporting and budget management capabilities, tracking campaign performance and associated budget spend at the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Experience with marketing technology for project tracking, email, social media, analytics and content management
    • Ability to travel up to 5% for business purposes, including team meetings (up to two per year), or other internal meetings

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
