Job Description:

*Nidec Sankyo America Corporation* (NSAC) is a leading producer of components and modules for home appliances and other industries.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Account Manager. The ideal candidate for this position must be a highly organized, self-motivated, proactive team player with proficient interpersonal and communication skills as well as an exceptional ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

Primary responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction by working with other team members and advocating for the customer within the organization while ensuring that proposals are a win-win situation for both the customer and the organization.
* Serves as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
* Builds and maintains long-lasting client relationships
* Seeks new project opportunities by establishing new customers, new products, and/or new markets
* Collects, communicates, and reports customer sales, market, and project data for assigned accounts to NSAC management and to overseas offices
* Achieves monthly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts as set by management
* Enjoys working with a team in an energetic and open working environment
* Enjoys being one of the faces of the company

Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or relevant role
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, negotiate with, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
* Solid experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and an ERP system (Syteline)
* Ability to open new business and close sales
* Ability to conduct market analysis and make market reports to identify new opportunities
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
* Ability to work flexible schedule for conference calls with overseas offices and plants
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to travel up to 40% of the time to domestic/or international customer sites. Driver's license and/or passport may be required for some travel.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs for customer presentations and demonstrations
* Language ability in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, or Portuguese is not required but a bonus
* Working knowledge or experience with Japanese culture is welcome

- *EDUCATION: *

* Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or account management and/ or a 4-year degree in Business or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

* Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
