Job Description:
The JD Sports North America Corporate Systems team powers the
expansion of JD's digital retail operations through building and
delivering the foundational merchandising, supply chain, finance,
and corporate capabilities behind the scenes that enable us to
provide connected customer experiences and support our internal

solution-oriented perspective to our team.The Manager, Corporate
Delivery - CFS is responsible for managing and developing
engineering teams responsible for our workstreams supporting
finance and other corporate functions. This position combines
managerial responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise.
Working closely with partners in product management, business, and
engineering, the Manager, Corporate Delivery - CFS works with the
teams to plan, build, and release products and features that our
customers interact with using our website and agent-assisted
service applications. This leader will effectively exhibit JD

the following main duties: Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Responsible for appropriate staffing, staff management,
training, and performance management of both internal resources and
contracted development resources.
- Leadership, teambuilding, and mentoring skills
- Help the teams achieve high performance through the
implementation of best practices in Agile, continuous delivery, and
test-driven development
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and
conflict resolution skills
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to
ensure high quality team performance/collaboration and to address
and rectify opportunities for improvements
- Provide solution-driven guidance and support for teams
regarding engineering approaches and best practices
- Work collaboratively with functional analysts, business
partners, business analysts, product managers and developers to
organize, plan and build technical solutions
- Enforce standards for code reusability, code quality and other
best practices in software design and engineering
- Drive process improvement and best practices across teams
- Additional projects and duties as assigned
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years' experience managing software development teams
- Prior technical / engineering experience is a plus
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
- Intermediate experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google
Slides and needed development tools
- Atlassian suite and Jira software experience is a plus
- In depth understanding of Agile values, principles, and the
Scrum framework
- Understand fundamentals of iterative & incremental
development
- Excels in tailoring written and verbal communications depending
on the audience, from project team to executive-level
stakeholders
- Experience in a retail environment is preferred Qualifications
