Location/Region: North Midwest (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana)Compensation: Base Salary $100-120K (Depending On Experience) + Quarterly Bonus + Very Generous Car AllowanceLooking for candidates who reside in the following States: -North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana. To take over this region as a Sales Manager for a Top Automation Company that is growing and continuing to grow. -Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains sales representatives and distributors in assigned territory
• Organizes sales schedules of assigned staffResponsibilities:
  • Sells the company products in assigned territory
  • Keep CRM accounts up to date and accurate, monitor existing accounts, and regularly communicate with primary contacts for the account
  • Works to establish new accounts in the assigned territory
  • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate
  • Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop sales quotes and proposals
  • Gain a good technical understanding of our industry, software products
  • Learn and demo new product offerings, act as company representative at trade shows, conventions, etc.Required Skills:

    • Thorough technical background knowledge of territory, market, and clients
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, sales techniques, and ability to negotiate and close deals
    • Proficient in sales CRM software i.e. Salesforce, -etc.Preferred Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in related field required
      • Five years of outside sales experience in industrial automation required
      • Experience with selling Automation hardware and software (PLC, HMI,SCADA)
      • Expereince working as Automation Technician or Engineer with Flow Computers, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) would go a long way
      • Experience in the following areas are a plus: Industrial Controllers/PLCs, I/O signal types, programming and wiring schematics
      • Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) programming
      • Computer Programming: Python, Java, C and Ladder Logic
