    Responsibilities


    • Direct the strategic direction for the payroll function.


    • Oversee and direct the management of day-to-day operations in processing requests and transactions, resolving escalated requests.


    • Create and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties and provide opportunities for career development.


    • Set team priorities, organizational structure and hiring plans to ensure payroll processes are delivered in line with Service Level Targets.


    • Develop programs, initiatives and tools to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations. Develop, implement and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.


    • Ensure delivery of business results; plan and define performance goals. Ensure all payroll processing activities are completed in accordance with published schedules.


    • Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.


      Requirements
      Education:


      • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.


      • Master's degree preferred.


        Work Experience:


        • 5 years of experience required.


        • 10 years of experience preferred.


        • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.


        • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
