This is an Autism Services Care Advocate position that deals specifically with families impacted by autism. It is required that the candidate have experience with autism spectrum disorders, as well as intensive behavioral therapies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). -
***Required schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6pm EST***




You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Making patient assessments and determining appropriate levels of care
  • Obtaining information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
  • Determining if additional clinical treatment sessions are needed
  • Making and receiving calls from families seeking services and providers
  • Managing cases for individuals with autism throughout the entire treatment plan
  • Administering benefits and reviewing treatment plans
  • Coordinating benefits and transitions between various areas of care
  • Identifying ways to add value to treatment plans and consulting with facility staff or outpatient care providers on those ideas

    Required Qualifications: -



    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    • Ability to obtain LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) in your state of residence -
    • 2+ years post-licensure experience providing ABA services to children / adolescents with autism
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Outlook, Internet)
    • Access to high-speed internet and space for a private home office




      Preferred Qualifications: -



      • Independently licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
      • Managed Care experience
      • Case Management experience
      • Utilization management experience
      • Experience working with the Medicaid population
      • Experience working in a call center/queue based environment
      • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment




        California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $56,300 to $110,400 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
