Manager - Service Ops & Parts North America-North America-United States-IN-Indianapolis This Manager role and the teams they lead have direct responsibility for driving and supporting the on-time delivery of service parts, reverse logistics processes and recommercialization of service replacement parts. As a primary advocate for our globally distributed service teams the position requires a high level of collaboration with internal and external supply chain as well as logistics & distribution partners. This position provides the practical bridge to executable actions by service and support professionals around the world centered on improving the end customer experience. Dealing with both corrective and preventative actions and guidance provided by senior leaders this position will ensure timely completion of prioritized improvement initiatives within this area. Major Responsibilities * Leadership of an engaged and productive teams. * Accountable to achievement of ongoing service parts delivery and quality metrics in support of the global support organization. * Responsible for aligning various process improvement projects with actions that meet all requirements compliantly. * Responsible for the organization, facilitation of internal and external project meetings, ensuring communication is transparent so all key stakeholders are aware of progress and critical path tasks. * Advocate and utilize DBS tools to maintain high performance levels as well as initiate problem solving or improvement actions when required. * As and when required, provide project or improvement updates with expected tracking systems and to appropriate stakeholders. * Maintain systems and documentation to ensure all requirements are met for internal and external audit as well as overall quality compliance. * Bachelor s degree with 9+ years of experience OR Master s degree with 7+ years of experience * Experience with service parts management processes and logistics structure including 3pl networks and multi level stocking structures * Continuous process improvement, DBS and / or Lean experience * Good working knowledge of statistical data evaluation methods, techniques and tools including MS Excel * Familiarity with MS Project or similar project management software and tools. * Excellent people and project management skill set - responsible for timeline, deliverables and budget. * Experience of working in a complex matrix and global business environment * Experience in medical devices development environment (feasibility through to product launch) while not essential would be desirable. * An ability to work to set requirements and an ability to adjust, maintain and manage plans to incorporate changing requirements. * Budgetary and/or P and L experience * Experience with Service Quality systems and procedures * Field service or call center support operational experience is desirable. * Experience in medical devices development environment (feasibility through to product launch) while not essential would be desirable.
