Quality Clinicians is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelIf holidays fall during a travelers contract, they will be expected to work 2/3 of the holidays.
  
  off bill rate for travelers with a permanent resident within 50 miles of their assigned IU health facility.

  Shift Requirements: 4x12 Nights
  
  *** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
  
  *** Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
  
  *** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
  
  Certification Requirements: BCLS; ACLS Preferred
  
  Skillset Requirements: Minimum 3 yrs Experience, Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls
  Skillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Telemetry
  
  Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
  
  Staffing Ratios: 1:4
  
  Unit Information: IU Methodist s A5East is a progressive care unit that focuses on the close monitoring of patients with cardiovascular diagnoses including, congestive heart failure, post- myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congenital heart defects, and infective endocarditis along with a multitude of other co-morbidities.. We care for patient post-cath lab procedures, prior to LVAD placements or heart/lung transplants and pre- valve replace
