Riley Children's Health at Indiana University Health and Indiana
University School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care
Intensivist to join Indiana's only nationally ranked children's
hospital by U.S. News and World Report, and the only Level I
Pediatric Trauma Center in Indiana verified by the American College
of Surgeons (ACS). Riley Children's is nationally ranked in 10 out
of 10 pediatric specialties, with two programs in the top ten. The
successful candidate will join a dynamic and diverse group with a
focus on delivering world class health care, and a commitment to
academic development and research.Highlights
- Large care team of board-certified pediatric critical care
intensivists, specialty-trained APP's, respiratory therapists,
RN's, support staff, and supportive leadership
- State-of-the-art 36-bed PICU with approximately 2500 admissions
annually, named as one of the highest acuity patient mixes in the
country (Children's Hospital Association) for congenital heart
disease, kidney/liver/multivisceral/cardiac transplants, traumatic
injuries, burn injuries and smoke inhalation, sepsis, respiratory
failure, inborn errors of metabolism, pediatric cancer including
children receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplants, and
post-operative recovery from a variety of surgical procedures
closely collaborating with pediatric ENT, plastic, orthopedic, and
general surgeons.
- Treatments and services include intubation and advanced
mechanical ventilation, ECMO, sedation, iNO administration, CRRT,
targeted temperature control, and transport services.
- Join IU School of Medicine faculty as assistant or associate
professor with medical education opportunities, and participation
in a wide array of translational and clinical research
activities.
