assure that medications, supplies, and drug information are
furnished to the customer in an accurate and timely way in
compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. To
review and evaluate drug regimens, which include the medication
profile, in order to identify issues which require pharmacy
intervention or monitoring. Participates in direct patient care,
multidisciplinary planning for the best use of specific
medications, and multidisciplinary planning of care for groups of
patients. Mentors pharmacy students. Provides education to patients
and caregivers. Develops positive relationships in satisfying the
needs of internal and external customers, as well as with
pharmaceutical service representatives. Participates in quality
improvement projects.Your Exceptional Skills and
QualificationsReview and interpret physician medication orders and
evaluate medication profiles.Process or check orders in pharmacy
computer system.( Cannot perform independently with IN Pharmacy
Intern License - activity requires valid IN Pharmacist
License).Maintain a positive and productive working relationship
with other members of the department.Filling or checking patient
orders during an assigned shift. (Cannot perform independently with
IN Pharmacy Intern License - activity requires valid IN Pharmacist
License).Demonstrate proper handling, preparation, and disposal
techniques for chemotherapeutic agents, sterile products, and
investigational protocols.Provides documented direct patient care
on a regular basis, including core clinical services.Leads
planning, assessment, and improvement of the use of specific
medications.Leads planning, assessment, and improvement of
medication use in groups of patients.Provides an interface from
patient care areas to medication distribution process.Individuals
may not perform all of these duties, or may perform additional,
related duties not listed here.Education - You have earned a
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited pharmacy program. - Doctorate
Degree : Pharm D (Preferred). - Indiana Pharmacist License. -
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS).Apply
