  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Medical Surgical--4 North--48'sShift: Days/ 7a-7p, 12x4, 48hrs/week, will accept 36's,--every other weekLength: 13 WeeksIf holidays fall during a travelers contract, they will be expected to work 2/3 of the holidays.Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contractRequirements:--

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • Charge Nurse Experience PreferredOthers:
    • Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals

    • Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health facilityIU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
