duties related to providing patient care. Primary
Responsibilities:Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing
equipment
Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform
EKGs
Administer injections and collect specimens
Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record
software
Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process
medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete
paperwork
Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office
proceduresYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in

on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide
development for other roles you may be interested in.Required
Qualifications: High School/GED
Medical Assistant Diploma and/or Medical Assistant Certification or
ability to obtain a Medical Assistant Certification within the
first 6 months of employment (CCMA, AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT,
NAHP)Preferred Qualifications:1+ year of clinical experience as a
Medical Assistant
CPR certification
NextGen experience
EHR/EMR experience Proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable
