Franciscan Health takes pride in hiring coworkers that provide compassionate, comprehensive care for our patients and the communities we serve.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTCoordinate the trauma performance improvement program in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Manager, trauma registry, and injury prevention programs.Collect, monitor, and track trauma PI issues related to patient care and system development using audit filters and trauma clinical practice guidelines.Monitor clinical processes and outcomes and system issues related to the quality of care provided.Develop quality filters, audits, and perform case reviews.Identify quality improvement opportunities through continual assessments.Review and assist with implementing evidence-based policies, procedures, protocols and best practice models.Review, analyze, and trend data outcomes.Assist with meeting minutes and case review notes to ensure they meet accrediting agency requirements.Work in collaboration with the trauma program manager to determine clinical educational needs.Identify and assist with injury prevention activities.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in nursing requiredMaster's degree preferred3 years of Trauma, Emergency, or Intensive Care nursing experience required1 year of Project Management, Database Management, and/or Quality experience preferredActive Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure requiredBasic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within 90 days of hireCertified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Trauma Nursing Core Course Instructor (TNCC) preferredTRAVEL IS REQUIRED:Never or RarelyEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERIt is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.Franciscan Alliance reserves a Right of Conscience objection in the event local, state or Federal ordinances that violate its values and the free exercise of its religious rights.Franciscan Alliance is committed to equal employment opportunity.by Jobble
