• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• BLS - Basic Life Support.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
• CHEMO - Chemotherapy.
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course.
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on cost center/unit.

  • IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities.
  • Travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted.
  • Unit Information: Urology, Plastic Surgery, orthopedic oncology, hospitalist
    • Job Requirements
    • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
    • Certification Requirements: BCLS.
    • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience, Strong Urology Skillset, and IV Start.
    • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
      • Schedule Information
      • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS.
      • TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
      • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
      • Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day or it will be added at the end of the contract depending on FTE status.
      • Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

        • Valid Driver's License or State ID accepted.
        • AHA ONLY for certifications, RQI is acceptable.
        • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
