• Certification Details
• BCLS - Basic Life Support is required for all candidates.
• AHA ONLY certifications like ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC are accepted.
• IU Health - Certifications Required Per Unit spreadsheet used to determine the certifications required per unit.
  • Job Details
  • This position requires scrubbing and rates 3/4s in scrubbing CV/PV/Heart and Lung transplant.
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
  • PLEASE PROVIDE 2-3 DAYS OF INTERVIEW AVAILABILITY WHEN SUBMITTING CANDIDATES.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted IF they have Level 1 Trauma Experience.
  • Skillset Requirement: Minimum 3 years experience, Circulate, Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • MUST HAVE experience in Heart/lung transplant, valve replacement, aortic dissection, receiving pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation.
  • If candidate has less than 3 years experience, they must have at least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience.
  • CORE 5: MUST HAVE 3s and 4s in CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant.
  • Average Daily Census: 70-80.
  • Rooms: 24.
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.
  • Special Equipment: DaVinci XI Methodist.

    • This position requires scrub. Please confirm that your traveler is comfortable scrubbing.
    • Required Certifications: BCLS.
    • If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package they are eligible to apply.
    • Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health facility, will be offered $15 below the current bill rate.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 4x10s.
      • Call Requirement: 90-120 hours of call in a 6 week schedule.
