• Skillset Preferences: Central line experience, post-op patient assessments, experience with drains (foleys, JP drains, NG tubes)
  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • **Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Information: 2North is a 15 bed, fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit that specializes in a variety of patient populations. These populations include: Gynecology-Oncology, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sickle Cell Anemia.
        • Nurses will gain learning, experience, and skills with central lines, drains, physical assessments, and medication administration, including chemotherapy upon certification.

          • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
          • AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
