• Certification Requirements: ACLS, PALS required; CPI, ENPC, TNCC preferred
  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
  • First Time Travelers: Yes
  • Unit Information: Any and all patient diagnoses, Conscious sedation, Trauma evaluations, Many ED procedures - lac repairs, I&D, ortho procedures, LP, etc., US for PIVs, fiberoptic lights for PIVs, POC testing, rapid infusers, fluid warmers, ICP monitors
    • Job Requirements
    • Skillset Requirements: 3 yrs overall required, 2yrs Acute Care, Level I Trauma Experience, Triage, Vents
    • Floating Requirements: IU North Peds ED as needed, potential on-call requirement.
    • Staffing Ratios: 1:5

      • Shift Requirements: 3X12s 1900-0730
        • Additional Details
        • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
        • AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
        • HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
        • Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days before start date.
