Indiana University School of Medicine and IU Health Physicians
is seeking an outstanding patient-centered and collaborative Breast
Surgeon to join our Division of Surgical Oncology. This Physician
will provide services within the Central Indianapolis area focused
on clinical care and health science research. Strongly consider
being part of a team that provides leading-edge medicine at the
state s leading healthcare organization! This is a great
opportunity to join a dedicated group of six breast surgeons and
three advanced practice providers with the expertise to treat our
patients from diagnosis to treatment and through survivorship.
Position Details:
- High volume breast surgery program
- Protected research time
- Full-Time
- Surgical procedures include lumpectomies, mastectomies and
combination cases with Plastic Surgeons
- Active participation in robust multidisciplinary Tumor
BoardMinimum Job Requirements
- Qualified candidates must have M.D., DO, or equivalent
education
- Completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship
- American BC in General Surgery
- Open to current Fellows
- Collaborate and successfully interact with a multi-disciplinary
team to promote high-quality patient outcomes
- Track record of academic productivity with proven research
portfolio
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and
verbal communication skills
