a level IV perinatal center providing high level, quality care to
all spectrums of the obstetrical patient. RMT labor and delivery is
comprised of 27 inpatient beds, 10 bed OB Emergency department, 4
OR s including a fetal surgery suite, HR transport, and 6 bed PACU.
While the focus for our patients care is obstetric, we take a
holistic approach to care of the patients, maternal and fetal, to
include complex medical, emotional, and social needs.MUST HAVE at
least 1 year of RN experience; experience in OB nursing a plus! BSN
preferred.Nursing skills gained on this unit:Critical assessment
skillsFetal monitoring and assessmentTraining for US PIV placement,
Belmont rapid infuser, OBERT rapid assessment team, and simulation
trainingBereavement support for mothers and familiesUnit
Successes/Designations:Many RNs with professional
certificationsDAISY Award winners in 2023Multiple DAISY Award
nominees in 2023Met or exceeded all 3 harm goals in 2023Multiple

certification through the AHA.Other Advanced Life Support
certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
