    • The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a unit dedicated to providing highly specialized care to patients with congenital or acquired cardiac disease. We are a dedicated and diverse team of experts with advanced training in both critical care and heart care.
    • Coming Soon CICU is a state-of-the-art, 8 bed facility equipped with advanced technology and patient monitoring devices that help care for complex medical and surgical patients. Our specialized nurses deliver the highest level of care with experience and compassion.We thrive on cohesiveness and team work.     • Pediatric cardiac intensive care requires a distinct discipline. The cohesiveness of the team of caregivers has a direct impact on patient outcomes. The ability to work with an amazing team is a vital attribute to all pediatric cardiovascular professionals today. Treats patients with congenital or acquired cardiac disease. -

Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
        • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
        • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
        • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
        • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
          • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
          • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education:
            • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
