seeks an Engineer (R1-R4) to develop portfolio strategy and apply
technical capabilities for Synthetic Molecule Design and
Development (SMDD). Contribute to the formulation, design, and
process development for drug substances and drug products. Develop
manufacturing processes and control strategies. Provide technical
oversight for laboratory and manufacturing activities to support
the portfolio and capability development. LI-DNI Position requires
a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering,
Pharmaceutical Science or a related field and 2 years of academic
or employment experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing
processes including granulation, compression, spray dry dispersion,
coating, and packaging. Academic or employment experience must
include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with application of
pharmaceutical formulation principles and designing and optimizing
continuous and batch product processes; 2 years of experience with
utilizing and applying process analytical technologies to promote
process controls of drug products; 2 years of experience with
applying scaling principles to transfer technologies from
development to manufacturing; 2 years of experience with Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements; 2 years
of experience authoring, reviewing, or approving high quality
technical reports and regulatory submissions; 2 years of experience
with designing experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting
results to drive formulation, process development, and
optimization; and 2 years of experience with laboratory equipment
including HB50 compaction simulator, turbula blender, FT4
rheometer, dissolution apparatus, hardness tester, disintegration &
friability tester, microscope, moisture analyzers, and HPLC. Part
time telecommuting may be permitted. Up to 10% domestic and

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $97,635
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company
bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
